BG-1 11 1/8" tall,
dk. olive green color glass, 3 part mold cylinder form with an applied double
collar lip and a smooth base. Applied glass seal near base reads : " BOOTH & CO.
/ SUPERIOR GIN / S. S. COW CROSS " In mint condition there is no damage to this bottle
at all. The seal is crudely applied and hard to read. There is a pot stone on
the back shoulder of the bottle with no stars. Circa 1840's, English. This
bottle has crude, wavy glass with a lot of bubbles. A rare top shelf black glass
seal bottle. $250.00
BG-2 11 1/2" tall,
yellow / green, turn molded glass that is darker in the top and base area and
lighter in the shoulder and center. Applied ring lip and a very high kick-up
base. The kick-up is about 3 3/4" long and extends about half way into the body
of the bottle. The base is so uneven that the bottle will barely stand. It leans
and rocks to one side. No damage to this bottle. It does have a very light
inside haze and some minor base wear. Only noted for accuracy! A wonderful,
crude, early wine bottle. Circa 1860's. Found in South America in the 1960's.

BG-4 SMALLER SIZE
9 3/8" tall, Olive green glass, darker in the applied lip and
base, lighter in the shoulders and center. A very crude applied lip that has
glass dripping to the very uneven shoulder of the bottle. Smooth base, Paddled
uneven sides. A nice smaller sized case gin in great shape for it's age! Circa
1850's. Has a spot or two of inside dirt that looks like would clean with some
TLC. Some minor scratches, a small, what looks like a white scuff mark on one
edge towards the base and a white scuff mark with some very minor chips on the
glass drip on the lip. None of this is bad. I only like to note everything for
accuracy. A nice bottle that displays mint!
