western drug store bottle from a small Pacific Coast town.
SOLD
DS-2 Unlisted 7 1/2" tall, rectangle form
with beveled edges and panels. Clear glass, early ABM bottle. Embossed on front
panel only : " GEO. Z. WAIT CO. / SACRAMENTO / CAL. " Bottle is
in near mint condition with no chips, cracks, scratches or dings. Just some spots of
inside haze ( mainly on the side panels. Nice, uneven glass with a few waves in
the back take back anything that the haze might take away. Still, a nice,
unlisted western drug or pharmacy bottle! I have never seen another of these
bottles. So, I would guess that they were not made for a long period of time?
$30.00
DS-3 5 1/16" tall, BIM, rectangle form with rounded
sides, tapered collar lip, clear glass with a slight amethyst tint of the glass.
Base is smooth and has " REX " embossed in cursive. Embossed on front panel : "
S. G. SKIDMORE & CO. / DRUGGISTS / 151 - 3rd ST.
PORTLAND, ORE. " A nice western drug store bottle that is in near mint condition
with only a couple of light scratches, some light inside haze that looks like
would clean with some TLC and a small open bubble on the left side. None of
which are major problems. Quite a name for a druggist! $18.00
DS-4 6 1/4"
tall, including attached dose cap, cobalt blue glass, square shape, BIM with a smooth base.
Embossed on the front vertically : " JOHN WYETH & BRO. " Dose cap is
attached to the top of the bottle and is embossed : " THIS CUP HOLDS A HEAPING
DESSERT SPOONFUL " Bottle is in super mint condition with complete content
( potassium bicarbonate ). The bottle has never been opened. Also, has full, complete label and comes with the original box. The box does have some wear and
is missing some of the top tabs. A great find though!
$85.00
DS- 5 5 3/4" tall, dark sky blue or light cornflower
blue color (very nice), squared, rectangle shape with beveled corners, drippy,
applied round collared lip and a smooth base. Embossing reads on front only : "
DICKEY / PIONEER / 1850 (within a mortar & pestle) / CHEMIST / S. F. " Nice
bubbles and textured glass gives this bottle character. Bottle has a couple of
light spots of haze towards the base on the front and left side panel. I
am, again, being very picky! this does not take anything away from this piece. No chips,
cracks, dings, or scratches. These bottles come in a wide variety and range of
colors. Do you have this color yet? A very nice, older, rare
colored, western drug
bottle with a drippy lip that will thrill you! $115.00
DS- 6 5" tall with glass stopper in, rectangle
form with rounded corners. Clear glass
with a ring lip and smooth base.
Label under glass reads: " LYSOL " Label is made of enamel and has white
lettering on a red background all bordered by a box done in gold leaf. Glass
over label is complete and in mint condition. Base is embossed with: " W. T. CO.
U. S. A. " Bottle is mint except for the inside residue left because the
stopper is stuck in the top. No problems at all! A rare Lysol bottle made for a
druggist or chemist to dispense from. SOLD
DS-7 6" tall, oval shape with a front flat panel that is
sunken in. Clear glass, seam over ABM bottle. Embossed on front: " THE N. E.
WILSON CO. INC. / PHARMACISTS / VIRGINIA ST. OPP. P. O. / PHONE 425 / RENO,
NEVADA. " Near mint condition with no chips, cracks, dings, or scratches. Just a
very light front and back haze to the glass that looks like would clean with a
good scrubbing. A few large air bubbles in the glass. A nice Nevada drug store
bottle! SOLD
DS-8 5 1/2" tall, Rectangle shape, clear glass
(turning purple). Embossed on front: " 3 IV " near shoulder " POWELL'S /
PRESCRIPTION / PHARMACY / REDDING, CAL. " Base has " W T CO. USA " A nice
bottle from a small (was then) Northern California town. Bottle is in near mint
condition! Two pin point pings on the heal are the only problem. You really have
to look hard to see these. Only noted for
accuracy and does not take anything away from the beauty of this bottle.
SOLD
DS-9 5 1/4"
tall including lid, round jar. Made of milk glass. Front label and orange & gray
lines are ACL. (applied ceramic label) Not antique, probably circa 1970 or
80, but an interesting advertising piece for the narcotic " DARVON " I would
think that these were given out by drug company representatives to doctors or
surgeons. The ironic thing about it was that the jar probably held candy for the
doctor and or staff to eat. What kind of advertising was that? Mint condition!
$20.00
DS-10 A FLYING MORTAR 4 3/8" tall, BIM, rectangle form, clear glass with a
square collar lip. Embossed vertically on the front : " THE SUN ( a winged
mortar & sun ray lines) DRUG CO. " Embossed on the back shoulder : " THE SUN
DRUG CO. " Could this be a copy of the Owl Drug Co. bottles? This bottle is in mint condition with
only some light haze that looks like would clean. Pictures didn't turn out very clear,
sorry! SOLD
DS-11 ( 3 FOR THE PRICE OF 1 ) A
We have here, 3 The Owl Drug Co. bottles for sale. Large bottle is 7 3/4" tall,

with the small one being a early ABM bottle. All with a
flat collar ring lip. Embossed on the

These bottles do have some problems. The worst being 2 chips on the lip of the
large bottle, a flake on the lip of the medium bottle and a ping on the lip of
the small one. All bottles have some minor scratches and dirt, that would clean.
Some nice bottles with the 7 3/4" being a tuff size to get. That one alone in
mint condition would sell for $45. Take all 3 bottles for.............. SORRY!
THESE ARE SOLD
